About Pexapark
Pexapark is the price intelligence platform for clean energy. Covering solar, wind, and battery storage across more than 20 countries, Pexapark helps clean energy buyers, sellers, and investors navigate increasingly complex power markets with confidence. To do this, the company combines market-based insights and pricing solutions with expert-led transaction facilitation.
Unlike fundamental assumptions or infrequent RFPs, Pexapark is powered by real market data sourced on an ongoing basis from more than a hundred counterparties. This enables Pexapark to provide a market consensus view on otherwise non-transparent contracts. As a result, both new entrants and experienced players trust Pexapark to connect the dots across every stage of clean energy commercialisation – from pre-transaction analysis, to price negotiation, to post-transaction performance and exposure management.
Founded in 2017 by power traders, Pexapark has facilitated over 40,000 megawatts of transactions and currently serves more than 250 customers across Europe and the US.
The Role

As a Quant Energy Market Advisor, you will be an integral member of the Quant Advisory team, collaborating closely with functions such as Editorial & Analysis, PPA Transactions, and our Software & Data teams. You will analyse market data, develop models, and translate quantitative insights into actionable recommendations for clients, both through written reporting and direct customer interaction.
This role is ideal for a quantitative professional with 2-5 years of experience, ideally within the energy sector, financial modelling, or analytical consulting, who is ready to step into a position with substantial client exposure and specialised analytical responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform advanced data analytics on historical patterns and relationships within renewable energy markets
Research, design, and prototype new quantitative models tailored to client needs
Develop a deep understanding of market characteristics, such as ancillary services, intraday markets, and imbalance settlement, and reflect these in analysis
Deliver bespoke quantitative advisory work by translating complex modelling into clear insights and actionable recommendations
Present analysis directly to customers and lead technical discussions within advisory mandates
Ensure cross functional coordination with all front office areas requiring quantitative analytics
Contribute to the development and improvement of internal analytics tools and workflows
What You’ll Bring:
2–5 years of experience in quantitative analysis, financial modelling, energy markets, or a related analytical field
Demonstrated experience of working with complex datasets to extract meaningful insights
Strong modelling skills, with the ability to translate numerical outputs into commercial implications
A relevant university degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Quantitative Finance, or a related discipline
Solid coding experience, ideally in Python or R, with the ability to build and maintain analytical workflows
Strong communication skills, with the confidence to engage directly with customers, present findings, and discuss modelling approaches
A sound understanding of, or strong interest in, renewable energy markets, pricing mechanisms, and risk analytics
A proactive problem solving attitude and a willingness to develop new methodologies
A professional mindset, paired with a good sense of humour
