About Pexapark
Pexapark is the trusted provider of PPA benchmark prices, market intelligence, and advisory services for renewable energy.
Offering a comprehensive suite of solutions, we empower energy market participants to build strong investment business cases, execute successful transactions, and optimise portfolio revenues and risk management strategies.
Founded in 2017 by seasoned energy traders, Pexapark has grown into a leading authority on renewable energy pricing and market insights.
Our mission is to accelerate the transition to net zero by fostering an efficient and transparent renewable energy market.
The Role
Pexapark is looking for a Regional Lead to join our PPA & BESS Transactions team. You will advise major renewable energy companies and investors on the best strategies for Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). This includes supporting deal sourcing, structuring, negotiation, and risk analysis.
You’ll lead business development in Central and Eastern Europe, ensure high-quality service for clients, and help junior team members develop their skills.
At Pexapark, you’ll work with experienced professionals and advanced tools. We’re a market leader in Europe, having supported over 40,000 MW of projects. Our work includes the first solar and BESS hybrid in Great Britain, Europe’s largest solar PPA, and key roles in major offshore wind tenders.
Our work is varied, dynamic, and delivered in a collaborative environment. We look forward to meeting you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Grow Pexapark’s PPA & BESS Transactions business in Central and Eastern Europe by originating new leads and expanding into new markets.
- As a Regional Lead, you will be responsible for driving the business in your region—creating a clear plan, discussing targets and budgets, and, where needed, managing direct reports.
- You will build strong relationships with key players in the energy sector, including producers, infrastructure funds, corporate off-takers, utilities, and BESS optimisers.
- You will carry out commercial due diligence and help draft PPA term sheets.
- You will lead day-to-day negotiations for PPA and BESS optimisation agreements, ensuring successful delivery and overall accountability for project outcomes.
- You will work closely with our Quant team and use our software tools to assess more complex contract structures.
What You’ll Bring:
- An entrepreneurial mindset and a strong track record of delivering results.
- Over 5 years of hands-on experience in origination, trading, or investment in renewable energy or power optimisation.
- You are a strong team player with a positive, collaborative attitude.
- Confidence working with contracts—reviewing, improving, and negotiating to achieve the best outcomes for all parties involved.
- Excellent project management, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas in a clear and actionable way.
- Well-established network and the ability to build lasting relationships at all levels, earning the trust of clients over the long term.
- A degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
- A good sense of humour.
