The Role
Pexapark is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our Account Management team, working on the retention and growth of our existing client base.
The team is responsible for building long-term relationships with clients based on trust, respect, and deep industry knowledge. We strive to understand client’s needs and match them with Pexapark’s product values. Our customer success team collects and analyses data to learn more about our client’s behaviour. Our key objective is to maintain renewal rates above 90% and the growth rate at 15% year-on-year.
How will you help:
- You will be passionate about nurturing and growing your existing client portfolio by achieving a high degree of customer satisfaction and adoption
- You will be responsible for managing the client engagement calendar and the negotiation of renewal contracts
- You will always be seeking further business opportunities with the customer and recording and analysing interactions in the CRM to achieve excellence in upselling and cross-selling
- Identify early signs of low engagement and intervene using risk mitigation plans and activities
- Act as the voice of the customer back to the business to influence the product development roadmap
- Orchestrate client-facing activities about product training, educational events such as academies and webinars and similar events
What you’ll bring:
- Demonstrable experience gained through Account Management, Business Development, and/or Sales in the Energy sector
- Ability to manage multiple projects and perform as a team player
- Exemplary interpersonal skills and experience in developing executive customer relationships to drive value, and influence client thinking and decisions at a senior level
- Proven sales skills and achievement of retention and growth goals
- An in-depth understanding of trading, risk, and quantitative analysis ideally gained in the energy sector or financial markets is a big plus
- Exceptional written, oral, and presentation skills
- German language proficiency is a big plus
- A good sense of humour
