The Role

As our newest Analyst, you will take charge of developing and executing our market intelligence for renewable energy markets & BESS. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in renewable power markets and a proven ability to drive research agenda and deliver actionable market insights.

As part of the Editorial & Analysis team, you will be at the forefront of market developments, working alongside a talented team of Analysts and Price Reporters. Your insights will shape our growing pricing and market intelligence offerings and will help make the renewable energy market smarter and more efficient.

How will you help:

Contribute to the development and expansion of Pexapark’s market intelligence outputs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and maintaining a high-quality output (e.g. quarterly market reports, research reports)
Develop compelling data visualisations and establish processes to support best-in-class market reports
Provide high-level commentary on renewable energy, PPA and BESS price developments, commodity markets, and industry trends
Support market research by gathering renewable energy, PPA and BESS price data, as well as key insights from key players and facilitate market outreach to support Pexapark’s benchmark pricing activities
Collaborate with stakeholders to drive growth in the Insights business and build long-term industry relationships
Represent Pexapark at industry conferences and client events, presenting our market view and contributing to thought leadership in the renewable energy sector

What you’ll bring:

3+ years of experience in renewable energy, energy market analysis, or a related field
Deep understanding of renewable energy markets, battery storage and PPAs, particularly in one or more core European markets (knowledge of Germany market preferred) 
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in creating impactful analysis and data visualisations
Experience in writing high-level (commodity) market commentary and market reporting
Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of delivering insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
Bachelor or Master’s degree in Energy, Economics, Engineering or similar 
A good sense of humour
