The Role

As a Quant Analyst, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of the models behind Pexapark’s award-winning software products. Based on deep modelling knowledge and a pragmatic working style you will create innovative new approaches to tackling methodological challenges ranging from asset valuation to portfolio risk metrics and valuation of complex energy derivatives. Good coding skills round off your skillset, allowing you to quickly translate conceptual ideas into operational code.

How will you help:

• Data quality assurance and process ownership of regular recalibration of the models
• Maintain and develop Pexapark’s proprietary quant models for PPA valuations

What you’ll bring:

• Previous experience working in a power/gas trading environment
• Experience in stochastic modelling of energy derivatives
• Proficient in Python (or R) programming and good knowledge of databases/SQL
• Hands-on experience with version control system (Git/Bitbucket)
